NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour Rescheduled Race Dates Announced. - NASCAR PR

Daytona Beach, FL - NASCAR announced today the rescheduled dates for two NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour events, which were rained out at Caraway Speedway in Asheboro, N.C. 

The first event will be run Friday, Aug. 22. The second will be Saturday, Sept. 27. The latter will be the second-to-last race of the season. 

The races were originally scheduled for April 14 and July 4 before being postponed by inclement weather. 

The NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour next races Aug. 2 at Bowman Gray Stadium in Winson-Salem, N.C. for the Advance Auto Parts 199. The season is scheduled to conclude Oct. 4 at Caraway Speedway.
