Bristol, TN -The
Bristol Motor Speedway held an open test session for the NASCAR Whelen
Southern Modified Tour and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour on Monday.
Andy Seuss and the Advance Auto Parts, Q Racing Oil, Stuarts
Automotive, Rockingham Boats, Pilat Graphic Design, Leaf Racewear,
Racing Electronics Team took advantage of the session to prepare for
the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tours' August 19th debut at the legendary
Bristol Motor Speedway.
Lightning quick doesn't begin to
describe the action from the Whelen Southern and Northern Modified
Tours. During a pre-season practice session earlier this year at the
Bristol Motor Speedway, the ground-pounding Modifieds turned a lap of
"The World's Fastest Half-Mile" in 14.479 seconds, easily breaking Ryan
Newman's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series track record. The NASCAR Modified
drivers will lay it all on the line and challenge the banks of Bristol
in the UNOH Perfect Storm 150 - an event that is sure to become a
instant classic.
The UNOH Perfect Storm 150 and the NASCAR
Camping World Truck Series 200 will kick off the Sharpie 500 weekend.
The August ticket package includes tickets for both the Sharpie 500 and
the Food City 250.
The ultra-competitive Camping World Truck
Series stars in the second act of this mid-week doubleheader. The
rough-and-tumble trucks always provide one of the greatest shows in the
racing world. Throw in the action of Bristol and this night is a recipe
for excitement.
Tickets for the combined Modified and Truck event begin with:
Adult Tickets: $30
Children's Tickets (12 years and younger): Free with ticketed adult
Weekend package prices begin at $145.
Anyone
purchasing a package will be eligible for the buy one, get one free
Wednesday night ticket, which includes both the NASCAR Camping World
Truck Series 200 truck event and the combined NASCAR Southern and
Northern Whelen Modified UNOH Perfect Storm 150.
